Transport Puffins to the People

Iceland’s iconic Látrabjarg sea-cliffs sit at the remote westernmost tip of the island, an isolated location that houses the flocks of Atlantic puffins who nest along the cliffs. Comprised of three pairs of digital binoculars, the exhibit provides visitors with views of life on the sea-cliffs, an otherwise inaccessible environment.

With nine stories for visitors to activate, each viewing station explores the cliff face from a different angle. Each story leverages rich animation to depict key social and biological moments in the lives of these whimsical seabirds—an experience that offers a poignant, unforgettable view into the world through the eyes of a puffin.
