The Magna Carta, written in 1215, and its companion document, the Charter of the Forest, set the groundwork for many concepts that continue to define democratic life today. Copies of the Magna Carta and the Charter of the Forest were on a Canadian tour, giving visitors a chance to experience the document that became the basis for Canadian democracy and rule of law. NGX collaborated with Lord Cultural Resources to create unique digital experiences for this historic exhibition.
The traveling exhibition featured an Interactive Globe where visitors explored the impact of the Magna Carta on nations around the world. Three interactive screens allowed visitors to freely explore the impact of the Magna Carta on countries through progressive disclosure and LED triggers on the globe. These experiences were created to draw visitors into the historic significance of these documents and absorb them in personalized and meaningful content.
