Perlan Museum

We developed an augmented reality (AR) exhibit for the Perlan Exploratorium that transports visitors to the Látrabjarg sea-cliffs. With a massive replica of the cliffs installed in our studio, we prototyped carefully to develop connections between fixed AR viewers and digitally embedded content in the cliff-face. Visitors “bird-watch” through the AR viewers, triggering animated vignettes that make complex biological stories accessible and poignant. Beautiful animation combines with technical precision to bring coastal ecology to life.
