Holocaust & Human Rights Museum: USC Shoah Dimensions in Testimony

Framing the Holocaust

Dallas, USA

Overview

The Dimensions in Testimony project transforms how people engage with Holocaust survivor testimony. We have been humbled to support the project by building immersive introductions that provide historical and emotional context for new audiences. Displayed at life-size on three sides of a small theatre, our meticulously animated panels transport visitors into a pre-war home.

Reinforced by first-person audio testimony, our work chronicles the menacing onset of genocide. Heavy, powerful, and true, this work has left us breathless.

The experiential concept for the theatre is rooted in a narrative strategy that situates phases of the visitor experience within a classic narrative arc, comprising a beginning, middle, and end.
