Overview
ngx partnered with Xylem, a global water-technology company, to enthrall visitors as they step into their new collaborative meeting space at the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions in Washington, DC. The stunning centrepiece—a two-storey digital waterfall with its synchronized ambient soundtrack—creates a bold sense of place that activates the lobby.
Using bespoke user interface (UI), visitors select and play videos on wall mounted display screens.
A Statement Entry
Architecturally integrated, the cascading two-storey digital work stands as a focal point as people enter the building. A stunning particle animation, developed by ngx, subtly shifts throughout the day as it flows down a 435-square-foot LED wall. As a universal symbol of transformation, the waterfall captures the essence of Xylem’s vision and values.
Multi-Modal Engagement
Moving into the core of the visitor center, a “Real-Time Partner Content Feed” showcases Xylem’s global partnerships—three conjoined screens cycle through the social media feeds of key players in the water industry, orienting visitors to the global efforts that tackle pressing water issues.
In the Center’s multi-purpose room, the “Interactive Content Hub” takes visitors on a journey around the world. An illuminated globe slowly spins on an assembly of nine 55” interactive screens. Visitors explore content hotspots by accessing video portraits of vital work by Xylem and its partners around the world.
