A place of national historic significance
Fort Anne is Canada’s first National Historic Site. Located in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, the visitor centre tells the story of the Mi'kmaq, Acadian, French, and British who lived there during a tumultuous period of Nova Scotian history.
ngx created a variety of multimedia experiences, including an interpretive tablet tour with oral storytelling, a beacon-triggered Augmented Reality experience for the outdoor spaces of the fort, an interactive digital 3D model of the fort, and a dynamic animated map for visitors to explore alternate perspectives on the local history.
